Doctr is committed to protecting your health information. This policy describes how we collect, use, and safeguard personal and health data through the Doctr platform.
You own your data. Your health information belongs to you. You decide what to share and with whom, and you can revoke access at any time.
The Community Governance Council reviews and approves how aggregate community health data is used. They have the authority to veto any use they determine is harmful to the community.
When you use Doctr, we may collect information you provide directly, including your name, contact information, health history, and insurance details. We also collect usage data to improve the platform experience.
Your data is used to connect you with healthcare providers, coordinate your care, and deliver community health services. De-identified aggregate data may be used for community health research with governance council approval.
Doctr does not sell your personal health information to advertisers. We do not share individual health records without your explicit consent. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.
Doctr complies with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2 for substance use records, and tribal data sovereignty requirements. All data is stored within the United States and is never transferred or stored outside the country.
